A healthy lifestyle should include a healthy diet. Taking time to ensure you are filling your body with the right amount of nutrition does not mean cutting back or eating nothing at all. It is not a good idea to skip breakfast and lunch in preference to some quick snack or heavy meal late at night. You need to remember to feed yourself well and often and make some choices about what your healthy diet includes.
A healthy diet includes a higher mixture of fruit and vegetables and some starchy foods such as bread, potatoes or pasta – but no more than a third and then some non dairy protein gained from meat, fish, eggs or pulses. The lower value should be any saturated fat and sugar intake.
